Our Projects
Polycrystalline Silicon Production
UPMC is implementing an innovative Polycrystalline Silicon Production Project in Nizhyn, Chernihiv region, Ukraine. The facility, with an annual capacity of 5,000 tons, combines DSS (Directional Solidification System) and FBR (Fluidized Bed Reactor) technologies along with a 15 MW rooftop solar power plant, ensuring complete energy self-sufficiency. The project aims to create a vertically integrated, eco-friendly, waste-free production of high-purity silicon for the European solar and electronics industries.
Our Work
Polycrystalline Silicon Production
We operate a full production cycle — from raw material extraction to finished high-purity products. Our technological approach meets European and global industry standards for polysilicon manufacturing. The production process includes:
- Raw material processing (MG-Si mini-plant);
- Melting and crystal growth (DSS technology);
- Gas-phase purification and deposition (FBR reactors);
- Ingot cutting, wafer polishing, and quality control.
